Frank Jankoski, President is the Founder and President of CES. A Rutgers graduate with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Economics, Frank has been providing environmental consulting services to public and industrial clients for 30+ years. Prior to establishing his own firm in 1989, Frank was employed by Camp, Dresser, McKee; progressing from junior engineer to Manager of New Jersey Operations. His current practice is largely focused within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry. His expertise includes: EHS compliance strategies; coordinating complex permitting efforts; and facility operations, lab startups, commissioning, and decommissioning.
Shannon Busby, Senior Project Manager, has 25 years’ experience as an EHS consultant and project manager in the biotech, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, manufacturing, power generation, and food & beverage industries. He has developed a wide variety of EHS programs to meet clients’ goals and achieve compliance with state and federal regulations via a mix of hand-on and remote support. Shannon’s recent focus has been building complex EHS management systems for CRDMOs and Life Science Organizations in PA and NJ.
Sunil Hangal, PhD, Associate, has extensive experience in air permitting, compliance and analysis. Areas of expertise include air quality; greenhouse gas inventory assessment and management; risk management planning; source sampling and emissions control technology; pollution prevention; environmental health and safety compliance management; environmental impact assessment/site investigation; wastewater, solid and hazardous waste management; environmental management systems; sustainability; and environmental, health and safety compliance and auditing.
Clare Helms, Environmental Engineer, has over 10 years’ experience in compliance work, particularly with discharge prevention, cleanup and removal in relation to major facilities working with hazardous substances. More recently, Ms. Helms has assisted life science companies with EHS program development and augmentation.
Tom Petersen, P.E., Senior EHS Consultant, has more than 30 years of experience in Environmental Engineering, Health & Safety, Environmental Compliance and Industrial Ventilation. A graduate of both Cornell and Clemson Universities, Tom has experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, aerospace, precision manufacturing and other industries.
David Wardle, Safety Management Professional, has approximately 20 years of combined EHS experience in (Pharma / Biotech) ER&D and Clinical manufacturing, construction and oil and gas industries. Mr. Wardle brings a safety-first quality always approach, that balances safety or compliance issues related to people, property, and the environment to mitigate risk. While also taking into account client needs and expectations to bring positive results from project conception through to implementation.
Chris Rowland, Senior EHS Project Manager, has over 30 years of EHS experience, including EHS program development and implementation; industrial incident and accident investigation; EHS and Department of Transportation regulatory review and interpretation; onsite EHS compliance assistance and training; Air, POTW and NPDES (process and storm water) permitting and compliance support; NESHAP air compliance planning and program development; industrial site assessments and compliance evaluations; preparation and updating of Title V and state-issued air permit applications and emission inventories; multimedia EHS compliance and management system auditing of paper mills & forest products manufacturing, data centers, petrochemical production, manufacturing and distribution facilities, power generation, waste processing and disposal sites, utilities, and pharmaceutical research and production; and permit and enforcement negotiations. He has also been involved in the development of instructional material and training of plant supervisors & employees on their EHS management responsibilities, the operational review and optimization of pollution control systems (wastewater treatment and air emissions capture and control equipment), and the preparation of facilities for closure and sale as brownfield properties.
Mary Rooney, P.E., Project Engineer, was awarded a BS in Civil Engineering from Penn State University. Following two years of service in the Peace Corps as a municipal engineer in Kenya, Mary entered the environmental consulting profession. She specializes in site investigations, remedial design, construction oversight and general project management and also possesses considerable permitting and general environmental consulting experience.
Mr. Bernard D. Silverstein, MS, CIH, FAIHA is a nationally recognized expert in exposure assessment and a Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association. During Mr. Silverstein’s 35-year career as an Industrial Hygienist, he has provided comprehensive consultative services in health and safety for numerous fortune 500 companies, small and midsized companies and government organizations. The main focus of these services has been exposure risk assessment, health and safety management systems and audits, product stewardship and regulatory compliance. Mr. Silverstein has also provided expert reports and testimony for litigation support of a variety of exposure/health effects cases.
